An introduction to the Research School Network and how it supports the use and engagement of research evidence by teachers across schools in England. Opportunity to hear reflections on what we’ve learnt and how it might support more teachers and leaders to access evidence in other places.

Stu has been at the Education Endowment Foundation since 2017, focusing on how to support teachers and leaders and their schools to use evidence to help improve outcomes for all pupils, especially the most disadvantaged. Stu has helped lead the development of the Research Schools Network since its inception, and has also worked directly with schools to develop evidence-informed materials and training, through to coaching and supporting groups of school leaders.

Before joining the EEF, Stu had roles supporting teacher professional development, pedagogy and workforce development at the Department for Education. Stu has previously been a school Governor.
